People are getting stacked 10 high at Kamar's place. It'll be like a slave ship with a working toilet.
Kamarfest 2005
Karmar is leasing his backyard for people who would like to rough it and pitch a tent while in Chicago. He is charging $2.47 per Sq. Ft. + tax.

Yea, we can do that after the PCL League Luncheon.
i know some of you are staying at the days in on clark and diversy which is a great location. however, if your driving, parking blows in that neighborhood. some sugestions, there's a side street behind the hotel called "surf" you can park there if there's no permit parking. on clark and diversy during the day, it's meter parking, free after 6pm i think. or 9pm. one of the two., parking will not be a problem after 9 or 10 pm on sunday, minday, or tuesday. plenty of free parking on clark just be sure to feed to meters or move the car the next morning. theres the century mall, diners, clothing stores, record stores, bars, restauraunts, all within walking distance. the distance to neo for the afterparty is about a 10 minute walk :) record stores and stuff is a few blocks north at clark and belmont. walk around the area, youll run into a bunch. i reccomend evil clown for bootlegs and reckless for used cds and vynyl. and your right by the zoo and the lak. and a short bus ride to downtown. it will drop you off at dearborn and chicago (well thats where you should get off) and walk east till you hit michigan and water tower place and all that tourist stuff :)
gurkha's where are you staying?
oh the most important thing :) distance to the venue is about 15 minutes because there's no train right there. if you want to take the train walk or take the bus north to belmont, make a left and walk to the EL stop and take the train north to lawrence which is right next to aragon( about 15 minutes). or you can walk east to broadway or sheridan and take the bus all the way to lawrence and walk a few blocks east or west depending on which bus you took (about 30 minutes in traffic). aragon is between broadway and sheridan. i think thats enough info for one post :)
Kamar, I'll be staying at the Essex Inn.
Are you taking the day of the concert off from work?
i'm taking off a bunch of days so i can play tour guide for wenorder and nic. are you coming in the day of the show? i'm picking up a friend from seattle tuesday morning (day of show) at 8. she's nuts. coming in at 8am, hang out all day, go to the show, the after party, food, and back to seattle at 6am on may 4th. she's dating nool's very own pope. i don't know which is more crazy.
damn, i have my radio show at 10pm otherwise i'd pick you up. wanna meet up for a drink around 1am with mike, nic, me, and whomever else? i might be able to drive you to the airport depending which day you leave and what time. steph is leaving at 7am from midway and mike and nic are leaving at around 9 or 930 from ohare.
