I'm serioulsy thinking of Going to NY Show- I live in Wisconsin

Oh...... man I can't believe I've been out of touch for so long with the best band. Has anyone heard if they are going to do anymore shows, if so in the midwest? If they came to Madison they would sell out in a minute. I'm this close to buying tickets from a broker but two things are holding me back. #1 My wife would "KILL" me! #2 I've heard and read some bad stuff about the Hammerstein Ballroom. Can anybody here tell me more about it, if they've been there?

Mark you may want to copy this thread in on the Ceremony forum too, where a higher percentage of live show junkies currently assemble.

Sorry it was late last night. I just found out they were in Chi-twon. I got my tickets.....

I've read numerous reviews from people who say the staff there is just rude and made their whole expereince rotten. Somealso complained about the venue is not very good acoustically. If I find that link again I'll post it.

Small world, I live in Madison too, and about shit my pants when I saw NO was coming to Chicago. Been a huge fan for 20 years, and this will be my first time ever getting to see them live...

I guess its true.. Dreams never end.. ;)

Madison WI gets more and better synth-pop, electro, and Industrial shows than Chicago does. Thinking of eventually driving up there to some place called the Inferno? for a show.

hope you guys can make it to the Afterparty @ Neo after the new order show.

oh, from what i've heard, the NYC venue sounds like its a nicer, smaller, and better sounding place than the Aragon. But the Aragon is a beautiful venue and it's New Order, so I ain't gonna bitch about it

How far is Neo from the venue? Been to Chicago several times, but not sure where the hell I am going.. I figure when I find a toll, I am headed back home.. :D

Yeah NYC sounds tempting. Living 4 miles from the Chicago Aragon show is awesome. But only turning 20 a week after the May 3 show leaves me kinda an amateur at flying to NYC for something like this. Maybe I'll grow the cahones to do it. Mark, Madison is known for techno? I'll have to make it up there this summer.

twintone, neo is about a five minute drive from the Aragon. Maybe 10-15 with traffic leaving the show but it's very close.

Stumbled across this site as I realized my standing order for the new album @ amazon.com was set to trigger tomorrow. And only thought they were playing coachella...now i find we have Chi town, NYC, and Oakland....shiiite!! Too late to make a move on this...have fun doing it up y'all! As much as I love Texas - here is extreme example #1 of why the industrial city complex sometimes wins.
