Hello - I am coming from Detroit and don't know the area. I know how to get there, but need some more info.

Food - anything good in the area? Parking - Are there lots? side streets? Is it best to park someplace else and take the red line or bus? If so, where are the parking lots?

About how early do the lines start for the show?

thanks in advance! cheers

I'm sure Charlie will be there some hours before:evil4:

I would be there hours before too... but I have to work at least a 1/2 day. I'm hoping traffic isn't bad around 94... which it always is, always some sort of backup around the south end of Lake Michigan.

There are lots of bars. Don't venture SOUTH of the venue... just... trust me. Some restaurants in and around the area. You'll find something.

Park east of Aragon on Lawrence Ave. A few blocks further you'll find some free parking. That's what I have always done. Don't know about lines, but I've always walked in after opening and found good places to stand ( with standing room venues, you can always weasel your way in to the front )

Great - thanks for the heads up. Is the free parking on side streets or are there lots?
