Wifey and I just got home from Erasure concert at Chicago Theatre. If you're going to the Saturday show, you're in for a real treat, it was great as they always are.
Anyway, I know a lot of you from across the pond might not get this, but in USA, New Order, Erasure, and Depeche Mode share a large fan base.
At the Erasure concert tonight, I heard a lot of people talking about New Order concert on Tuesday, and a lot of upset people they didn't even know about it.
I know it took a little bit for Aragon to sell out, but I still believe New Order could come close to pulling 15 to 20 thousand in Chicago with better promotion.
But back to Erasure, if you're a fan and going to see them, I won't spoil too much here, but they cover a Blondie song and Vince does the rap portion of it. Andy looks great and voice is strong. I was sorry to read a couple of weeks ago that he has HIV. I fear tonight could possibly be the last time I get to see them depending on Andy's health.
