I am not going to the NY show. One of my professors scheduled our final exam the day after the show at 10am. Considering it takes about 4 hours to get back to Boston from NYC, I wouldn't be awake enough. Because my scholarship is dependent on my grades, I can't afford to screw up a final, especially for a class in which the three exams we have during the semester make up our grade. I love New Order and am regretting I'm not seeing them live, but I remember how I felt after seeing the Cure at the HFS festival in the summer, and I was in no shape to be taking an exam the morning after.

just ask the prof to reschedule you! hell, if he or she is in their 40s, they might even have heard of the band...

I did that for one exam because I was sick on the test day and he gave me a harder test because he assumed I had more time to study.

I have my last day ever of college classes on May 5th, and im missing them to see New Order live...this is almost like a pilgrimmage...something i NEEDED to do once in my life, so FUCK COLLEGE...New Order takes precedence right now.

too bad we won't be seeing you at the aftershow party, spike, as it's over-21 only. perhaps someone can wear a really big hat and smuggle you in?

I'll be there. Planning on the pre and post shindigs as well. Provided the plane arrives on time. Might be tricky maintaining a tasty buzz for 12+ hours. Not feeling so young and spritely these days.

I already got my tickets for the after party, im looking forward to meeting die hard new order fans, this would be a first for me, now if only i can meet an attractive female in her early 20's that feels that way haha
