I see what you mean, Tim, but I remember an interview, I think it was from Gillian, from around 86-87, I think. She said that, as they played different songs every night, they had to rehearse almost every song they had recorded and that it was a bit exhausting. Now, with all the albums that came afterwards and the limited time for rehearsals, it would be pretty impossible to do that anymore, especially with someone who has to learn all the songs from scratch.
So, I guess we have to be glad that there's far more variations in the setlists, even though pretty limited, than on the Get Ready dates where they generally were absolutely no surprises.
I mean, in Werchter, when I heard "Your Silent Face", I was so pleased because I didn't expected it.
I would have loved to hear them play EGG though. How was it, by the way ?
