They were looking to book G-Mex round about, um, now, I believe, but couldn't get the date they wanted so scrapped the idea.
Next year then?
I dont kow what it is ?But i just feel that they will please there home town before the end of the summer ???
May Be the cricket ground ???Or the Apollo ......Now that would be good. But i think it would be easier to platt Sawdust than to get hold of one of those tickets.![]()
apollo sold out quick last time.but i found a way round it for that and other big manc gigs.if your from lancs you get millenium concert coach to venue-tickets are included.and they never sell out of places![]()
this means nothing of course because it aint going to happen:(

well at least they were thinking about it for a bit...
where do you get your info from, Al?
Really hope they do Manchester either this year or next. I agree, the best bet might be Move...it makes me wonder if they'll play any actual venues rather than just festivals again. At least if they do festivals, there's a better chance of good concert audio/video recordings through TV/radio/online coverage.

Sorry Johny and whoever else for last nights post ? Ide just got in from the pub and i was hyper by the fact that N.O. are going to be doing a home town gig. It was just a bit of a giggle on my behalf that was all. Got tickets for me and my friends today so i am happy.:)
No hard feelings, Jake.I was just kidding at the way you seemed to be vindicated that New Order were finally doing a gig that you predicted would happen at the end of summer! You were nearly right.Just a couple of months out. I don`t know if you remember me from the Audley? me and that guy from Nottingham were talking to you for quite a while and you were saying how NO were " a very underrated band"
Nice one Mate ! And i do now remember the conversation. You will have to remember me though to put the name to the face, when i am sure that we will meet in some pub before the Apollo gig in Manchester. The Nottingam guy i do remember !I seen him as we was leaving Hyde Park that night. Cheers for the reply Johnny :)
