I was thinking swerve off the M1, ditch it at Harrow, tube in, MOSH, tube back..etc

Well, thats what I used to do for the FA Cup. Before my team went shit:laugh:

Not even Mike would leave a four-song set early for the sake of BM, would he? :evil4:

I will be there, along with Milky & his mate Andy. I finally gave in and bought three tickets for us on Ebay. I hope they get to play more than four songs or the tickets would have cost us £15- a song. Almost, but not quite as expensive as our Wertcher experience (I'm not even working out the cost of that nightmare...) We are in row B seats 8,9,10, seeya in the pub beforehand.

Not another Werchter victim?

Oh yes, I had already buggered up the Hyde Park gig by collapsing before NO came on stage (combination of heat/alcohol and anoyingly low blood pressure), so the pressure was on for Wertcher to make up for it. Little did we know that we would spend 90% of the set waiting in a queue for a nicely woven wrist band!!

All I can say is thank god for Turin.

Mrs M

Oh, & Ebay...

90%? Luxury! All we saw was Blue Monday from that queue between the first and second security ring!

i trust that you'll all represent new order fans in the correct manner. getting pissed in the pub, going in the venue, singing your heads off, staggering down isles, falling over the fucking backs of the chairs in the posh queen eliz hall and generally making complete twats of yourselves. HAVE A GOOD ONE :thumb:

Was in the venue again last night to see Bret Easton Ellis. Still cannae believe they're playing there. Only one security guard under the age of 50. And male. Took a camera photo of an usher stood by the stage, and the stage didn't reach her knee. Very bizarre location for a New Order gig.

Oh, and don't even think about heading there for a drink before the gig. The queues were phenomenal.

slightly OT but was Bret Eastion Ellis good? I'm off to see him tonight at the RNCM on a whim. To get back to topic, I really hope the people who are sitting on the front row of the rear stalls won't mind when I come use up all their available oxegen.

I know it is on here somewhere, but where are we meeting in the afternoon - I only remember the reference to Kate Garraway - and what time are we meeting??

I will be wandering around London from lunchtime so I need a purpose.
