How are my fellow Manc's getting down to London? If anyone is driving down and has a spare place in the car could I hitch a ride? (i'll bring petrol money and snacks) Very cheeky I know but worth a try at least.

some of the Virgin advance rail fares are dirt cheap, my trip to Manchester two weeks ago was £32 first class because I got it in advance!
You coming to our gig as well, the following night? Guest list for anyone coming to see us from outside London.
I'd bloody love to, work allowing. I haven't told them about skiving off for Peel yet.
Not sure how to break it to them.

Indeed, got a first class return to Manc for next week for 54notes. Bargain!
And it keeps me away from the Hoi Polloi!

Yes my first post looks like I'm just looking for a lift- but I was just actually wondering how everyone was getting down, what time train etc. I was asking about a lift just because I'm lazy. But I'm happy slumming on public transport too.
