Wot, when I wasn't trying to half-inch your flag?!

Must've been a True Faith, BLT or Blue Monday moment then!

Didn't know he drank shandy.

Hoping to get one monday!

Didn't see anything Nic's shop doesn't sell, and very overpriced.

Some guy I spoke to on the tube had bought 3 posters for a quid each. Said he bought them outside the venue. I was a little envious.

Top night. Even though I was left with 3 unused tickets in me pocket, ouch! Can't complain after my recent run of ticket selling though.

Great to meet DC before hand - you need to share some of the stories you got locked away in your archive :thumb:. Also enjoyed the opportunity to present NOOLs favourite son 'Kevo' with a Vikings badge as he crept away from the Academy.

I discovered BSPs 3rd Batallion also have their own badge. However, it's a cheap tinny immitation of our model....don't really need to point out that this might be considered an unfortunate metaphor, do I? :evil4:.

Superb night!

The live version of true faith was the only real down point for me as usual, I wish they wouldn't bother, but oh well. Great to hear turn, and the versions of warsaw and shadowplay coz I wasn't at QEH. I heard the shout for lonesome tonight through the constant shouts for sunrise from the folks around me.

Never made it to the pub coz my wife went and wore a (real) chanel handbag and never felt safe in brixton. She made me take a cab straight to the door of the acc.

I've just been sent offshore again so I won't be in manchester, but I sure it'll be a stormer. Have a good one.

Once again a top night!! Got to love all of it. Paid close attention to Barney's dancing. Missed the shout for our lass but could see Hooky jesticulating her way. Not going to manc or ally pally so have a good one all of you for me!! Good to see the usual crowd and a few new faces. Cheers for the new badge Al!

Another fantastic gig!!!

Band were on top form, Brixton Academy is an awesome venue.

Shame I had to go during She's Lost Control to get the tube.

Glad they played Turn, but would love to have heard Run, Everythings Gone Green, Procession, Guilt Is A Useless Emotion, Age Of Consent........ the list is endless.

Great night and was a pure joy to hear the fist song. Other best bits for me were Sirens,Temptation,Regret and L.W.T.U.A. ........Can we please have The Perfect Kiss put back on the setlist !!! Good too meet who i met briefly in the pub ! I was on the phone most of the time outside. A big thanks to Biginoil for the Pin. :) The Mosh pit was great even though some of you boys are a hell of alot bigger than me. I saw Stephen and Gillian walk into The First Class lounge at Euston on the Friday lunchtime. But I bottled it to go and have a quick chatt,as i was as ruff as hell from the cheap red wine the night before See you all on Monday.........:) :) :) Johnny ! You should have made your self known in the pub as i would of got you that drink.:\ohwell:

My only other comment is the same as on Thursday: "fuck off!"

:evil4:

ROFLMAO, sir that is one of the finest pieces of abuse I've ever read.

Funny thing is, I used to know a harmonica player called Clive, with the exact same problem :)

He isn't really a cunt - and nor is his cunt of a cousin. Great fellas, truth be told. They were just a bit cheeky is all. I'll get me own back, don't you worry....

Thursday was my first time at Brixton Academy and I would put it down as the best venue i’ve been in for a live band. I thought New Order were great and I was particularly pleased to hear them open with Ceremony and give a live outing to Turn.

It was great to see/meet people from hear in the pub beforehand. It was also lovely to meet Geri and Claire (Delilah on here) who I went along to the gig with, oh and Midnight Blue who we also stood with inside. I had a top night. I’ve still got sore feet but it was well worth it.

Also a big thanks to Colin for the pin, my second one.

If tomorrow is as good as Thursday was, all of you lucky peeps who are off to the Manchester gig are in for a superb night.

I've only been to 2 No gigs (this one and Finsbury 2002). I just wondered, if Apollo is the longest set No have ever played? 90 minutes and 17 songs. Beats even Finsbury.

Have they ever played a longer set, anywhere, anytime?:confused2:

Can we put names to all those smiling faces? I know Shug, John S, Lorraine, Tim, Hibster, Al, Nick King, Digital Mike and Ness. Have probably been introduced to many of the others, but...

I am in the sixth one down, with wooly hat. Marko is on the left, and our mate Peter in the middle. I am also pictured (hatless!) in DoN's first shot, talking to Al, and about to be whacked on the head by a football.

Nice one Shug - I think you can almost see my shoulder in one of these.

p.s. query Shugster how do you manage to have that permanently startled "rabbit in the headlights" look?!

Oh, Simon, could've swore I got you in a picture, but c'est la vie, yer 5 minutes of f(sh)ame will have to wait until the gig in Manchester in January :thumb:
