On the way back from Ally Pally I was listening to Radio 2 whilst getting lost in London Village.

Mark Radcliff interviewed NO after there performance.

Barney talked about the Madonna gig and also mentioned an upcomming secret New Order gig !

The show is available on Listen again on BBC Radio 2

another gig? :nonono:

Not only have I spent 300 notes since last Thursday - but I have used up ma last holiday until April and pulled two sickies..... this secret gig had better be :

1 Close to Corby 2 Free 3 On a Friday or Saturday!

And an all access pass and free bar would also be a bonus.

And no, I ain't joking

Bugger - have just been listening to the Radio 2 coverage, and yup, Barney certainly does mention that a secret gig is what they've got planned next...

Well, depending on how secret it is, I guess that will be another one to go to!

It's a good thing that my company have just announced that we'll get an extra free day's holiday this year! :thumb:

Oh, and btw, the Radio 2 broadcast also includes Love Will Tear Us Apart, Regret and the Buzzcocks tribute - they do sound good! :smoking:

Bernard has obviously finally decided that he likes gigging.

Somebody better get investigating then!

It's a non-starter.

Apparently it's something we can't get into, and we won't know about until it's happened, and it'll be pretty obvious why we couldn't get into it once it's passed.

Sorry if that sounds about as clear as mud. Just one of them things.

Yeah, that makes sense - but it makes it even more intriguing.

What is the point of mentioning it on national radio???

It is probably one of their kid's birthday parties or something - Heather's 21st??!

With total due respect but whaaaaaaaaaattttttttttt? Even more intrigued now. Any clues?

Let's just say, it's something you and I would have no right to be at.

Barney probably shouldn't have mentioned it.

Fcuk it, we had to miss a gig somewhere down the line! :(

Yeah, I know, I don't like to, but I don't think it's for me to say here, and to be honest, I don't know the details, just the general gist of what they're doing. Andy Rob phoned up ATR, then me, earlier, and just basically said it's a non-starter and from what little he'd give away, it's not something any of us should be at anyways. Have to respect that. I'm sure all will become clear.

Just hope we find out the fcuking setlist once they've done it! :evil4:

It's difficult following these threads, when they're all in the wrong order - wonder where this one'll end up? :p

If we're not meant to be there then fair enough. If it's okay for us to get a recording of the gig after the event then great. We all need to remember that we can't just rush into everything screaming, 'New Ordah!' and expect to be welcomed. Some things are just best left...

We've had more live performances and TV appearances this year than we expected, so let's be grateful. And let's look forward to next year - the album, the singles, the live dates (Reading?) and the TV appearances :thumb:

It'll probably be rife with old classics like TPK, PFD and AOC, never to be played again!
