QEH has almost faded completely will have to revisit the threads, will also do a wee one fer the Hall Of Fame as well, but as far as I know there are only two photies from that night taken by Ricardo, and I wouldnae want to scare ye's again with ATR in a shirt and tie ;)

err what? i had me camera at the hall of fame - took one of alex as he was wearing a tie & didnt think we'd ever see that again, then some of the band getting their awards as posted by nicos!

also took plenty at the qeh that you've seen as well young shuglet.

Can you send me yer original Hall Of Fame pics me ole fruitcake? I will raid this site for the Manchester pictures, I finally got mine developed and I also have loads from Ricardo. The Manchester story has been started, hopefully I'll have it done this week, the biggest cunt is digging out all the best pictures to fit in with the stories :thumb:

As always, Shug has managed to capture just about everything, all written in the style that makes you wish you'd been there if you weren't!

Fine work as usual sir. Copying those Dylan CDs tonight (8 of them!), they will be in't post as soon as I sort a jiffy bag oot. :thumb:

Marko wrote: Fantastic tale, young Shug! I have absolutely no f**king idea what you mean when you say "older faces clearly suffering from exhaustion". Well, in fact I know exactly what you mean, I'll be at the next NU ORDAH gig with a walking stick and maybe a zimmer if they let me bring it in. And how the f**k can you remember all that about the night after a few lemonades just beats me! Great to see you again and to meet John and Lorraine, look forward to the next gig / piss-up / tribute evning / whatever.

What Marko said!

A top read and a top night!

Brilliant write up of a cracking gig, nice one

It seems so long ago now. Shug, you must have a great memory to recall all that.

Don't listen to them two Julie

Basically I write up the story, then send it to Al, DoN & Hibster and then they tell me whether I am writing about the correct gig and give me more information that I left out :D

So what Shug really does is write the title (sometimes correctly), send some photos of people he can't identify, and then asks everyone else to contribute bits that don't cause too much embarrassment :evil4:

In all seriousness, it is great to read these recollections of the gig and pre-gig. It's impossible to take it all in at the time, and I always find out afterwards the names of people I have forgotten etc!
