Time's ticking on...

Post suggestions for meet venue here - we'll have a vote on another thread when we get enough suggestions.

Fair?

My suggestions are Joshuas and The Ox in Castlefield. I'd be happy with either of them. Or anywhere else. It would be a shame to not to have a common place - the last few have been ace ('cos I've been there).

Corbieres is a great little bar, but is it not a little too little for such an event as a NOOL pre gig meet? I have not actually been in there since I lived in Manchester in 1994, but I remember it not being the biggest bar in the world? The Ox looks like a candidate worth considering, JB is always decent, and there is of course always Dry Bar, which might be appropriate for such an occasion..just an idea?! As long as the place sells beer and we can stumble to the MEN in less than 20 minutes, it will be good, as it will be full of people from here!! :beer2:

Dry was suggested last time and people had quite strong views against it. Can't remember whether they were good reasons or just the usual 'it's rubbish' anti-Factory guff.

I'll take that as a nomination and see how it does in the vote.

Just thought it was appropriate for such a 'Manchester' event!

Really? The 'flow' at these things tends to be yellow and smelly and up against a wall.....

Nicely Proposed - I'll second that.

Poll closes Friday - so the descision can be seen by the weekend.
