Hooky in Denver...Pics

So I went by myself to the club and met 2 other New Order fans there. Anyway Hooky didn't show up until almost 11pm. I was standing by the bar booth wall and he walked right by me. Nobody else seemed to notice so I followed him to the end of the bar. He was in a little roped off section just chillin' waiting for his fans. So I got to him first and said hello and asked if he would sign my CD booklets. 4 total (Monaco, Revenge, New Order and Joy Division) He was already prepared with his own Sharpie and signed away. I thanked him and asked if he wouldn't mind taking a picture with me. He said "Sure." So the bartender ended up taking the pic for me. Yaah!Now I have a pic with Hooky!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Hooky started off the set with Love Will Keep Us Together by Captain and Taniel and then mixed in Love Will Tear Us Apart by you know who. I didn't get to stay very long 'cause I had to be up at 5am the next day.

Your right. My hoax has been exposed. I'm ashamed. It was Obelisk or what ever his name is...he just happened to be guest DJ at the club and I thought I could pass him off as Hooky.. :wink3:

Thanks for the photos. I wish I culd have gone but was stuck at work. Do you go t o LaRhumba often? I would be great to check out a setlist of the evening.

I've never gone to LaRhumba before or since. I'm not into the club scene as I'm married with 2 kids and have other responsibilities. I just went for Hooky, got my autographs, pictures, a free drink, and left after one session. I had to be up early the next morning. Would have stayed longer if I could have.

It was a cool place though. I'd frequent there if I was single as there were a lot of hotties available. :D
