Best offer gets it. I can't be arsed to travel up there at considerable difficulty (you don't need to know) just for twenty minutes of JD butchery.

Well I hope it turns out better than that...not too many in the 'supporting' cast that grab you then?!

None at all. It's not helped by the fact that there are no trains from Kent to London, and I would have to leave my house at 4am to get a series of replacement buses just so I can meet my connection in London, and as I have to leave straight after the gig to get a coach home (prior commitments on the Sunday morning) it just ain't worth the hassle for twenty minutes of badly played JD songs. If I want to see/listen to twenty minutes of badly played JD songs, all I need do is put on a Digital DVD!

Not too happy myself either. The QEH was a one off and appropriate. This isn't. Surely the fans of the other groups and music fans in general who are going will be expecting a New Order set. They overdid the JD songs at the Apollo IMO.

Love will tear us apart will tear us apart
Aye. Nick, is there any site that does a decent map of the Manchester town centre or anywhere around the MEN? Not familiar with the Manchester territory. Might have a wander first and something to eat.
Er, whilst I've been grumbling as much as anyone ... is this just a Chinese Whisper, or is the JD-only set defo in black&white somewhere?!

We are soooooo..... on the same wavelength. Al did however, right at the very beginning of December say how shit this was going to be. Did he know something we didn't??????
Lots of booze and we can blank it all out. ![]()
True. But seriously unimpressed. I, like others no doubt, have had a nightmare trying to organise leaving home for a day and a night, kids, work etc; in addition to the expense. Think I'll leave the Hawaiian top at home and wear something black with RIP written on it.![]()
Same here. So much for a fun birthday weekend!! All of the excitement has disappeared (remember that feeling of anxiety before we got the tickets, seems like a lifetime away!)
Yeah, well too late now - not cancelling at this point. I'll offer to stay in the pub and look after everyone's coats, and other items that may be subject to scrutiny. What a RIP-off.
Anger often turns to tears.......If I shake my head anymore today, people will think I have some form of dementia.![]()

So the rain falls down on a humdrum town, this town has dragged you down? Sure you Manc chaps will enjoy him crooning that to you!

Nah, that would involve learning a new song and rehearsing......
