As I said before reckon this VIP thing will be a complete waste of money.
On a par with these folk who tell you they're flying "Business Class" to Florida on their Airtours charter flight. They aint. They've paid £300 for an extra 3" seat pitch and as much Cava as they can drink. Premium Economy aint Business Class! Mugs.
probably too late for this gig but with the 'contacts' people on here must have can we not get a big block of seats for 'ehem' any future UK gigs this year?
The VIP is a waste of money btw.
I've been VIP twice at Pops, but only coz i got tickets from someone i know who buys adverts off Liverpool Echo. There is a limit to how much you can scoff and drink to justify the cost anyway. (but when its free, who cares) Don't Do it.

I know someone who has 10 seats, but they're all spoken for. Any more than that and it would basically be taking the p!ss, I think. You have to know the promoters, everything bar a guestlist is out of the band's hands. And guestlists can end up you up absolutely anywhere in a venue (we ended up in the circle at Noo Yoik last year and had to make a dash down the service elevator in the kitchens).
Any future UK gigs this year will NOT be all-seated!

Having met me Christy, you know that, yes, I am a 'real big man'. Don't understand your comment about piss-ups though but you only know one person that I know (and you've never even met him) so seems a bit harsh that you'd betray him in such a fashion so publicly. Christy, you've slagged me off very publicly online in the past. And I've made absolutely no secret what I think of you too. We don't get on, pure and simple. firstly, Christy has never 'betrayed' me. I fail to see any kind of situation where she has even been in a position to betray me.
Secondly, yes we talk regularly, and yes we havent even "met" in the flesh yet. Of course, your probably in a much better postion to judge my character, but please dont hold against either of us if we spend a fair amount of time chatting on MSN.
I think thats it. Anyway, I presume this will all be forgotten about in a few days and we can all get down to the serious business of getting shitfaced at the gig.
