Anybody goin from Scotland beware of outrageous train fares. The cheapest ticket goin down on Saturday and back on Sunday is £54.

There's no flights from Gla or Edin To L/pool so the best option is BA from Glasgow to Manchester from £58 all in (for the 7AM flight) and £12 return on the train from Manc Airport to L/pool. Three flights each day.

F***in extortionate for the old John Wayne. Has anybody informed then they're competing with budget airlines these days?!

Can't be arsed checking back to see if JT has posted, but we will be there. Not sure which seats because JT's sister booked them for us when we were in Spain. Update for the likes of BA and fellow posh hotel dwellers. Radisson SAS is the hotel of choice for this jaunt. See you all there.

Bloody hell, how hard was it to get a ticket in that Golden area/circle? Sold out in no time. Only managed to get in the N area in the middle section.

How many tickets were there, after the VIP allocation, in Golden area/circle?

Trains from London even more expensive! I'm gonna get the old coach up and make sure there's a bottle of Scotch in my pocket for the journey!
