AM GONNA EDIT THIS WILLY NILLY AS I SEE FIT TO INCLUDE MEMORIES FUELLED BY LACK OF SLEEP & ALCOHOLwed (oops!) Left Manchester at 125pm & was not due in Athens til 155am! 4 1/2 hr layoff in Frankfurt, what do you expect for 124 quid (Lufthansa)? Only alcohol kept me goin. Had the last of 2 ciders so far in the airport. Tried my best not to get 2 pissed cause they wouldnt let me on the plane. Got crap cheese sandwich on plane that didnt taste of cheese! & a crap lager! The incredibly camp gay flight attendant reckoned I could escape the airport at Fft & go into the town, didnt fancy sittin in the airport for so long. Had more beer, got pulled up by security for theft in a department store! Bloody library book set the alarm off. No English banners in city centre, but an Argentian one! Went back on train past the stadium to more beer (fuck me that weiss beer is crap Gordie!) Finally landed at 125am! The plan was to go boozin in the city centre, but Gordie fell asleep. Took 1/2 hr on bus, then a 1 mile mwalk to our luxurious Best Western hotel (25 quid ish a nite each, with weird breakfast)(got quoted 20 euros in a cab, FUCKIN RIP OFF MERCANTS!) Got suitably lost & ended up in hotel only 15 hours since I left home!
thus (ooooooooooooops!) Am quite pissed now, have left Gordie in room while I type in bollox on free internet, am currently drinkin amstel! Wandrered round town & bought a Blck & a Kid Creole cd, & more beer! Managed to resist the temptation to buy a singing dancing daisy & a panama hat! We are off to a goth club later whilst the rest of the Viking contingent quaff lager in Rome airport whilst waitin 4 connecin flite! They should be here by 2am! Managed to blag a green gig poster that'll look nice framed, from a chap selotaping them onto buildings in the Plaka! The gig is promoted with the line "I used to think that the day would never come" on a pink poster. Bugger! Gordie is still snorin, at least I dont think hes had a wank on my bed to the porn channel this time! Oh bugger agai! I appear to have accidentaly bought a 3 euro panama hat!
Finally I got the bugger up and out at 930, after more solid bottles of ice beer in the kebab shop opposite the hotel. We went to the Thission area on tyhe recomendation of a passing Carlisle Utd fan. Lots of ace cheap resturants set round a park. Finally met up with the rest of em at 215am in aposy bar complete with glass boardroom table & tastefully shot nudes, the conversation ranged from the use of glass tables in hardcore porn movies (gordie have you bought the anal sex dvd for 6 euros yet from the newsagents in omonia square?), to WW1 & crop rotaion (no I dont understand either)
At least the air con doesnt fall off the wall in our hotel when you turn it on, mind you the balcony looking out onto a concret wallk has to bee seen to be believed, as does the shaft behind the bathroom window!
fri Got in at 4 off to meet the rest at 11, view the acroplis & buy more pananma hats! met the rest of the vikings except that lazy joni giles twat who got up at 5pm. got free tequila from 1 bar saw the acroplis & got security at an ancient monument to try & get us to delete our photo with the vikings flag up! aparently no flag photos at ancient monuments! fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! incredibly pissed now, 315 am malibu & lemonade is cheaper that heineken, reckon i hasd between 12 & 15 uk shots in the last pub! met the greek order, who are still out ont piss! have just spent 14 hours drinkin, its ace here if you spend loads on beeer or food you get free shotsd! got 3 free tequilas & an oozo!

The mistake the promoters made was asking us what we normally get with our passes. Quick as a flash I replied we normally get free beer! The scene was total carnage, free beer , tequila, spirits, it got so bad we only had to look at the barman %& he came over with another 9 beers! This is why I feel like this now!
