Need some New Order help

Three Boston, MA (USA) guys are planning on coming over to attend New Order on 10/27 at Webley Arena. Can anyone advise on best way to get tickets(website) or are we better off waiting to get over to London and try and buy from what we call "scalpers" outside the show. Also, we are looking for an area in London to stay that has solid nightlife yet is a bit upscale, good restaurants and nice hotels.
