Hi Ally I didn't get one of these so called 'Fan' tickets from Mr Wise where the first 5 or 10 people who bought them got a chance to 'meet/greet' the band. However I got to the venue around 5pm and managed to listen and see some of the sound check with a German girl who was also waiting and I became chatty with. After about 10 or so minutes we got chased out by a large guy in shorts - most likely Alan Wise, however 30 minutes later a couple showed up with these 'fan' tickets and asked the security (who were very laid back and good IMHO) about the 'meet/greet' with the band. The security guy seemed rather apologetic and said that the guy he needed to speak to (Mr Wise) wasn't around and due to this there's nothing he could do to help them. I felt a bit sorry for the couple as they looked like s*** when they got told that and I hope they did get to meet the the band. It was also surprising that he (Mr Wise) didn't do his 'stand up' routine to introduce the band - maybe he was affraid of getting a lynching from those with 'fan' tickets in the crowd LOL Cheers!

The "large guy in shorts" was probably Sarge. Alan Wise wasn't even there!

Yup, that sounds like Sarge, especially if he looked like somebody you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of, as he's Hooky's bouncer! :)

Sarge is the fat miserable c##t who was on hookys side. He just stands there and scowlls all the way through. Then Adam had tickets for the after show in the venue and sarge kicked him out saying that there was enough in there already. Well i say hooky keep that dog on a leash!!

Did anyone have any luck with their "fan" tickets? It was a real let down, so many people where hoping for something special to go off as it was ment to be this special gig. Alan Wise wasnt with the band - just a couple of people from the management - maybe the band where pissed that the gig got down sized! Was there a venue afterparty that actually commenced? So the rumours in the grapevine of Mr Wise being very unreliable are true? How long has he been the bands promoter?? Wouldnt it be time for a change??

As fer Sarge, I thought he looked like he was enjoying himself behind Hooky throughout the gig, mind you - it is hard to tell when he's in a good mood or a bad mood :D
