He doesn't fly, so I doubt it! Unless they packed him off on a boat a month ago and that's why he's been a no-show in the UK!

They played Brighton! That must have been advertised even less than Bournemouth!

I have never seen him introducing them outside England.

Yes, he's been at the last three Paris gigs.

But, like I said, he doesn't fly.

Our inside man at SJM said he'd been sacked, re: the Bournemouth debacle, as far as i knew.

I always thought, he does it when his company promote the gig,
and i.e. in Germany he isn't the promoter.

You're right with Paris, of course.

Maybe he is only ill. It would explain so much.

Hi Snorri if you're talking about the guy next to Hooky it's his mate Sarge. I also thought he was Alan Wise when I saw him in Bournemouth. Cheers!:thumb:

He didn't promote the Bournemouth gig very well, that's what! It was supposed to be a big celebration of the 30th Anniversary of them forming a band, but there was zero advertising, zero publicity, and the humiliation of having to move out of the original venue into the broom cupboard next door, which was still half-empty!

Thanks Tim. How many were there then?

Didn't he also harp on about it being a really special gig with totally different songs being played?

600 maybe? The smaller hall was only half full, once you got past the first few rows it was pretty sparse, it probably only went back about twelve/fifteen rows deep.

In fact, he relied entirely on here and World In Motion I believe...

The band came on stage in Blackpool to an excerpt from a western movie soundtrack.

It reminded me a bit of the Clash or was it Joe Strummer & the Mescaleroes?

The Good, The Bad And The Ugly. And Phil.

Or For A Few Dollars More.
