It was proper packed by the time we got from the bar. Even Al had trouble getting much further when Ceremony started.

On the plus side, we were very close to the bar and toilet cubicles

Al is probably licking your ear cos you were too big for him to get you in a headlock. He's obviously trying seduction rather than submission!!

I apologise again for spending about an hour trying to take that photo of you and your good lady at the end. Especially as you can see that I still managed to fuck it up.

I wouldn't worry about it, most of them are without shame ;)

As for being able to pick one's locale..... I spent 5 mins fighting my way to the front, stood there for 30 seconds, and spent 10 mins fighting my way to a relatively quiet bit beside the sound desk.....twas hecticly rammed from front to back. I grabbed me coat from the cloakroom before the encore and could barely get me heed back in the door...so I went down and stood at the door nearest Hooky and settled for the big noise and ocassional glimpse of a bass headstock (and flying vikings).
