That's probably the same set that they had in brasila, same order, not the one we got yesterday.

Well, maybe not, they did KW1

The weather was miserable. Thin rain all night long and temperature was around 15C.... but the feeling was even cold, maybe 12C.... The band came on stage around midnight and as we expected half of the audience went awas as this was a festival that attracts mainly teenagers and they don't know who New Order is. But the half part that stayed around 10K danced, shouted, clapped and sang with New Order. Not very enthusiastic audience. At some point of the show (in the begining), Bernand said: "well, we CAN'T please everybody". So, he couldn't care less about people leaving. He played just two Joy Division songs and I was expecting more. Maybe in Sao Paulo, where all the audience will be there for them this will happen. During Bizarre Love Triangle Bernard invited the singer of Manitu, a beginer brazilian band that opened the festival to sing with him. The guy made quite a few lines, said something with the audience and at the end Bernard thanked him. Very strange. Your Silent Face was a surprise for me, but a very cool surprise. When introducing Regret, Bernard said something about the music being from times that were not very good. Well, thats it!!!

They are misunderstanding the brazilian audience. Guess they think we are more like "New Order" audience. So, just 2 JD songs each show... :nono: No atmosphere? She`s lost control? Shadowplay? :guitar:

But it was really nice yesterday, worths the rain and the the asshole kids...

Hi, it has turned out that my memory is not that bad after all. Here is the correct setlist to Brasília (and what a great setlist!):

Souncheck

  • Krafty (with the sound engineer taking the place of Bernard Sumner, whose teleprompter is actually two 20' TVs if you didn't now this, yet. I got this information from Lúcio Ribeiro's blog, a journalist who was there. A crew member also told him that Bernard can't remember the lyrics to most of the songs, even the old ones. And who cares? You can watch this in Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRQVE6y7HR8)

  • Crystal

  • Regret

  • Love Vigilantes

  • Who's Joe?

  • Ceremony

  • Transmission

  • Krafty

  • Waiting for the Sirens Call

  • Atmosphere

  • Guilt Is a Useless Emotion

  • True Faith-98

  • Bizarre Love Triangle

  • Temptation

  • Perfect Kiss

  • Blue Monday

Encore

  • Turn

  • Shadowplay (was on the setlist but was not played)

  • Love Will Tear Us apart.

About Belo Horizonte show, I have sent the printed setlist I got from a local newspaper to Spotnick if he wants to put it online. They were supposed to play These Days instead of Transmission and Shadowplay instead of True Faith.
