Unfortunately the other thread had enough and disappeared along with Rangers title chances, check the avatar :D
The Corby Order would have loved to have made this gig, but unfortunately most of us are at a wedding the following day, so it's a no-go.
So here's a roll call for all the jammy bastards that are going.
And if Ian's reading this - make sure you do the "tight" echo in Subculture.......and I want a copy of this gig on CD as proof.

Like I said on the thread that disappeared (Bermuda Triangle indeed) I will be going to support a nice bunch of lads who have been good enough to support us at our gigs. It will be a great night.
Despite Digital's poor perforamance at the Good Ship which I spoke about in the thread that was here but now isn't, I am sure Re : order will overcome any acoustic difficulties with aplomb.

That avatar is awful. I had to look twice before I saw the crack down the middle. Nearly fainted at first.
As I was saying before the thread (along with some others I think, maybe JAK-related?) disappeared....
I was referring to the suitability of the venue, not to the band who will be playing there! No backbiting from me at all. Not a lot I can do if Senor Kershaw decides to set up a popularity contest.
As far as I am concerned, there is no rivalry between Digital and Re: Order. We are simply two bands from similar areas who do similar things. Fair play to 'em, if they are prepared to travel up and down with The Smyths and The Clone Roses and put the hard yards in, they deserve the recognition and support. They put on a good show and that is what we want to see.
None of us in Digital are able to play loads of gigs due to other commitments, after all, so any comparison is largely futile.
I still won't be at the Good Ship to watch them, the same way as I wouldn't be there to watch any other band that weekend, regardless of who they may be, how many times we've played with them before etc. I shall be in Rome, a far nicer gaff with a decent venue!

I didn't. I edited my earlier response, that's all. Then I got an error message saying that the post was not possible.
I'll copy and paste your original post about tribute bands if you want. It seems old or deleted threads that have gone into the archive can't be resurrected, I've just been trying.
There was no backbiting from me about Re: Order, old Kershaw did his usual shitstirring. No need for you to apologise for me, I didn't say anything that required an apology! The Good Ship is a crap venue, the audience we had or didn't have is largely irrelevant, the venue is not ideally suited to live music.
I should be there - just checked and the Gerald gig that I thought was the same day is, in fact, the following evening in a record shop! :)

I'll be there, hopefully. All depends on the tube, my abilty to find the venue, Morrissey being onstage at 9pm prompt etc etc.
Venue's dead easy to find. Turn right out of Kilburn tube and keep walking - five mins or thereabouts I would think. It's got a big sign on the wall. Nice pub but totally unsuitable as a gig venue unless they have totally restructured it! When we played there they had literally just moved in, the paint on the walls was still damp, they hadn't got a proper stage or sound set-up, and there was zero publicity. Then the bass amp blew in the second song, which was the icing on a cowpat. We didn't play that badly considering everything was going wrong!
Top Tip:
Take out the Clip LED on the bass amp and run wires from it's terminals to JR-JR's ball sack. I promise you'll never suffer a busted bass amp again.

Back to the original plot.... I'm in if I can get off work early enough. A night of good Kilburn Guinness and some Noo Ordah choons? That'll do nicely!
