I've been trying to locate audio from this show as I've only ever heard one show form the '93 tours (the electronic ecstacy boot).Curious as to what the setlist was, I found a few differing setlists:

Regret Ruined In A Day Dream Attack World As It Is When It Was Everyone Everywhere True Faith Bizarre Love Triangle Temptation The Perfect Kiss Blue Monday Fine Time

http://www.montreuxsounds.com/detail2006.php?fiche=1487

  1. Ruined In A Day (05:04)
  2. Regret (04:03)
  3. Dream Attack (04:08)
  4. World (04:39)
  5. Special (04:51)
  6. As It Is When It Was (03:19)
  7. Everyone Everywhere (04:28)
  8. True Faith (04:31)
  9. B.L.T. (04:14)
  10. Temptation (06:50)
  11. Perfect Kiss (07:52)
  12. Round And Round (05:24)

Total Timing : 00:59:23 MJF1993

I read from a few people hear that there is a full broadcast video. Politely asking (and with fingers crossed) is there anyone that is willing to share the audio with me/us boardies?

The set list on the DVD

Regret Ruined in a Day Dream Attack World As It Is When It Was Everyone Everywhere True Faith B.L.T. Temptation Perfect Kiss

That's the same as the track listing on the soundboard (I think) recording I have

I might upload the tracks later

This setlist was from Roskilde that year, the only time they ever did Special. Not a good quality recording.

The bulk of the set is, but they never encored with Round & Round at Roskilde, it was Fine Time. Guess it's just mislabelled?

If it's Roskilde (I suspect it is) the timings should line up with the existing bootleg recordings...I'll check this later tonight.

 What's this about a DVD?!

Could you tell me more about the DVD, Wasim?

Thanks for the clarifications oldmonkey, el jarvo and the happy one.

I really appreciate it.

If I could just have an audio copy of the Montreux set and the full disc of 'excerpts from recycle', I'd be one happy boy. :evil4:

There's a DVD of the Montreux Jazz Festival, with the set list I posted above.

Drop me a line and I'll try to help you out, although it would take a while because I'm ill these days.

I've sent you a PM.

Whatever is ailing you, I sincerely hope you feel better soon.

Thanks to you and everyone again for your help.

So maybe that setlist was the full Montreux listing after all - now that Johnny James has revealed they did do Special at Montreux as well! Obviously some tracks were cut for the MTV broadcast, so they could have done Round and Round as well.

Here's the timings from the MTV Europe broadcast. Hard to tell from that, really.

Regret (4:18) 0:00 Ruined In A Day (5:01) 5:01 Dream Attack (4:04) 9:19 World (4:48) 13:23 As It Is When It Was (3:30) 18:11 Everyone Everywhere (4:40) 21:41 True Faith (4:24) 26:21 Bizarre Love Triangle (4:29) 30:45 Temptation (7:14) 35:14 The Perfect Kiss (8:10) 42:28 Total of MTV footage 50:38

The cuts in the MTV footage are pretty obvious though.

To support the RIAD/Regret/Dream Attack sequencing of the actual performance, there's obviously a break between RIAD and Dream Attack in the MTV Europe broadcast, as Gillian goes from drinking out of a plastic bottle at 9:19 to front stage with her guitar by 9:21.

And there's obviously a cut between World and AIIWIW, since Gillian goes from behind her keyboards at 18:10 to fully strapped guitar front stage right at 18:15.

And given this was a Jazz festival, maybe NO decided that their faux aceed wouldn't go down a storm, and Round & Round was more appropriate. Who knows.

Some clips of it have been taken of youtube because of the viacom issue. I really enjoyed the performance of Dream Attack.

I have noticed as well that youtube has started to remove some clips.

That Montreux performance was filmed for MTV. MTV is owned by Viacom.

Would be amazing to have access to an archive like that! - Me & my headphones could be happy there for YEARS

Brilliant to know that it is all being kept SOMEWHERE anyway.

& Tim, how did you get your reply to Johnny before he posted it? I thought SteveCambo was Doctor?
