Apologies to Chemical Al for not putting this up before the gig itself!!!

Proper turnout of onliners for this one. The hilite of the evening being Alex pushing to the front of the queue then starting off ordering 7 Kronies, followed by 4 ciders, and then some.

And Kevo even wore a New Order t-shirt!!

He wouldn't know, he spent all night in the bar drinking

I was in good company!

WTF was up with that bar?! You do not close early just as we get our feet under the table! :nonono:

Monty, Jem mentioned the party. Cheers for the invite! :thumb:

Aw, would've been up for that!

Haven't seen the 'tron live yet either.

Cheers Al! I was most suprised to see so many NOOLers there, considering I'm usually the oldest geezer at 'Tron gigs! Thank you most kindly for the two pints as well; I didn't have a chance to buy the buyer one back. Man, those bars were rammed and a perfect situation for vomitting which is just what happened in actuality.

The 'Tron were tremendous as always. Helen slays them with that no-nonsense hand-on-hip gesture of hers. Highlights? Seventeen, International Dateline, a brief Cracked LCD, The Last One Standing and it was great to hear the rarely-played ballad Beauty *2. I've written a review of the gig for the Indie which may be published this week (crossed digits).

So are the NOOL lot planning on any other gigs or is that it for the year now?

There's a lot of us going to the Chemicals and Calvin Harris on Sunday ... but tickets were only available for that via competition.

Otherwise, quite a big turnout for LCD in October.

Trumpet-blowing time: I've just had my review of it printed in the Independent! It's not featured on their site but it is in print in today's (Wednesday's) paper in the Extra section.

I see you just couldn't resist a (slightly) tenuous mention of New Order in there! :shades:

I couldn't resist it, seeing as both JD and NO had played on the very same stage and they're sort-of linked to what the Tron do.
