Live at a gig was Bowdon Vale 14th March 1979, She's Lost Control and Shadowplay.
Live in the TV studio was Shadowplay on Tony Wilson's show in 1978.
There is sadly hardly any live video, both nights at the Apollo in Manchester on 27th/28th October 79, Plan K in Brussels on 16th October 79, though this hasn't been released as the audio is unlistenable, and a few tracks on Super 8 from Eindhoven on 18th January 1980.

3 songs and yes Malcolm Whitehead recorded it (on 8mm) it was shown as part of a "A Factory Flick" it also featured ACR, the songs were Leaders Of Men, Shadowplay and She's Lost Control

Filmed on Super-8. These are the first 3 songs of the concert and Leaders Of Men is cut short. A 200 ft Super-8 cartridge running at 24 frames per second would only last 12 - 14 minutes before cutting out and that's what appears to have happened here

Just to add, they all appeared in the Joy Division Substance Video (FACT 277). The first song is Shadowplay (Granada TV Appearance), then the next three tracks are these 3 tracks that you are talking about (She's Lost Control, Shadowplay, and Leaders of Men).
So, I am aware that there's not much JD live video material out there. So is there any other JD video that is not part of the Here Are The Young Men and Substance?

It was recorded on 8mm film, so he only had 12 minutes, but you will notice from the BW footage there are two camera shots, so he must've shot seperate bits of film and used up the 12 minutes.
I remember getting the video through the post and thinking I'd just found the Holy Grail

I reckon what Malcolm Whitehead will have done is film those three songs in full from the back until the film ran out during Leaders Of Men, then reloaded and filmed various other angles throughout the rest of the set. You'll notice that all the shots done close up are most likely of other songs and only edited to look vaguely in synch with the audio of the three tracks
Therefore it is possible he still has around 12 more minutes of footage that wasn't used, though you probably couldn't do much with it.
Only he can tell you more.
