I realize that most have given up hope, but wait and see. The rumors will heat up over the summer and by year's end....... Nothing concrete that I know. Just a feeling.

As Gillian said, never say never, and what does she know , being out out order for a good few years.

Hell drive you mad , hell drive you insane,

then relieve the pain

Think New Order will reform with Gillian back for a few gigs later this year :evil4:

I think a reunion will definitely happen in the next few years. All bands end up reuniting even if its just for a one off, look at Floyd and Zeppelin.

I hope so, I have never seen them live and they are my favourite band. Partly my own stupid fault for missing the chance in 2005, but how was I to know what would happen a year later.

I've been trying to make up for it since seeing BL and The Light as much as I can!

Am I alone in thinking they're best to just leave it now?

Let the Light and Bad Loot carry on doing their thang, but just leave New Order as a happy memory.

I agree with you. But I think, there is a bigger probability to see a reunion of new order than to see you with a hair transplantation. :D

You have all seen New Order before though! Think of poor people like me who still want to see them :nono:

I was born too late

True, though I'd still recommend Re: Order as a more authentic experience of what a NO gig could/should be like... Especially if they play Turn The Heater On...

I will meet Hooky next week. Just will ask him about these rumours.

Unfortunately I only saw them once...Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan in 2005. Fourth row, and it was off the hook. Had a chance to see them at the Meadowlands (NJ) in 1993???....I think. But a busines commitment kept me from the show. I reiterate that I know nothing concerning a reunion but I would be my last dollar that they get together gain...soon.

That's right, Jack! The Light would have to change their agenda :evil4:

Looking forward to meeting you next week in Rio and Sao Paulo. Talked with DS last week and we will stay at the same hotels.

The reunion was a no-brainer. Yes, no Hooky and these were charity events, but a tour is right around the corner. I just hope they come back to USA.

I've been telling people for years, bring back Gillian, keep Phil. Too bad about Hooky. Hope they can reconcile.

Just curious, did Barmey make any reference to Gillian being back on stage? While it's great to see the songs performed on YouTube, I don't think it captures as the in-between banter.

I'm just not convinced. I feel that Hooky was the very soul of the band and, without him, they're less than the sum of their parts. I even feel that something was lost when Gillian retired ten years ago and that's not to belittle Phil for filling her shoes. As Kraftwerk are not the same without Florian, I don't feel New Order are the same with Hooky.

I seem to remember him mentioning them all at the Brussels gig with Gillian getting a big cheer,he also at one stage mocked Phil saying he looked like Jerry Lee Lewis and there was some other banter aswell, overall a very positive vibe from Bernard.

You did a right proper job of verbalizing what Hooky added. Hard as they try, many songs don't sound the same without him.
