If you glance down Digital Republic, it's full of threads about current and prospective live gigs. A lot of which is repeated here.

Back in the day with so much traffic and thread content it probably made sense to split it up. Now it just seems to lead to confusion and repetition.

Anyone?

I'm not confused. Should it be dumbed down for those that are?

It's already about as dumbed-down as you'll get. It's probably more about moderation which, understandably, isn't what it used to be.

Take a look at all the double-posting of gig announcements, gig reviews, gig meet-ups, etc. Seems a little redundant.

Nowt the moderators can do. We can't close the board down or do anything with coding. Not enough hours in the day to get people to only start one thread about a gig, and almost certainly not worth the effort.

All we need, if indeed we need anything, is Digital Republic and an off-topic board. The rest is largely redundant and can go.

All we need is DR and BCD. Everything else should be binned (well, locked off in an "archive" section for viewing only). That would probably speed up the rest of the site and head off the need for any kind of bigger revamp.

Watch this space. Had message from Nicos tonight, he's building something fit for purpose.

Yes. As it transpires those responsible for the newordernow site do not know where the Isle of Wight is !

Otherwise I suggest the following, newordenow know: a)Hampshire Council have done a deal with the SNP to sell it to them and turn it into a tax haven !, Or b) has a certain individual decided he can run both territories from Corby !
