It was a direct reply to the question "When are you coming to the US? Feeling left out over here!"

Could still be a Morris family holiday...... "when are you coming back to the US?" - "we're going to have a nice few days in the Fall"......

I have no idea what you mean....
What's the delay in announcing the US dates? Moz has his tour through December announced and tickets on sale. With the band commenting that they are touring into November, you'd think these dates would have seen the light of day by now. Anyways, I'm excited to see exactly when and where in the US... I would love to see more than the 4 dates we got in 2005.

soooo...went looking for a hotel room fairly close to the venue...and discovered...most of the hotels in Dallas are already booked that weekend...
Texas-OU weekend...so we can show all the travelers just how stupid our college football fans can get....

The expense isn't the worst part, it's that there will be thousands of drunk college students all over town hurling insults (and more!) at one another. Sadly I was a participant in this back in the old days.. ![]()

When Iowa or ISU is not playing I root for the Big 10 or Big 12 team. This game I don't know... Was it texas that caused the shitstorm last year when they said that they were joining the PAC69?

I think it's impossible to be much of a college football fan and not know the OU-Texas game. It's easily one of the top few rivalries in the country along with Michigan-Ohio State and Alabama-Auburn.
But yeah, it's the night before the game which means half the city will be drunk, and even if you find a hotel room people will be yelling until 3-4 in the morning. Saturday night after the game isn't quite as bad since a lot of the losing fans go home, but Friday night (if you're not there for the game) is pretty crazy.
Just bought my tickets for Oakland.
Don't think I'll be Cannonballing down to SoCal for the next show like in '05 though.
got my tickets to Oakland. now for my social media campaign
#thieveslikeusOakland
You know you want to join in.....
