Hummmm... Looks interesting. I haven't planned my vacations yet and have never been in the US, but I'm going to wait for more dates.
Hahaha yet another lucrative festival payday!
But oh yeah, Hooky's the one doing it for the money... Yeah right. 💀
This looks like the same place where New Order played with Moby in 2001.
Good 2 hour drive from Seattle & no hotels for miles so 6 of us slept in a 6 seater car. Ugh. Amazing location though.

Haven't you seen the size of the venue Hooky plays at? He's definitely not doing it for the money. Unless he's collecting air miles.

Ha Ha.. That was almost funny, until one brief look at his previous/upcoming tour dates suggests that they have played/are playing some pretty big rooms, as well as the smaller ones. 2000 people in Sao Paulo is doing quite well where I come from. Shepherd's Bush Empire in London is also no small feat for a guy on a solo tour. Hooky is doing it because he loves it, playing for almost 3 hours every night these days - does he have to do that? No. The other lot are just hawking themselves around every festival payday with the same old setlist for a quick hollow buck. How most fans cannot see this is beyond me. Maybe you should remove your head from Bernard's ass and have a look at the real picture bud.
4th of July, funny how America accepts that's the correct and logical way the date should be written on their big day of the year rather than that month/ day/ year nonsense they insist on the rest of the year. Still got work to do on that 'math', 'color' and 'favorite' daftness though.

Well unless JG does have his head up Barneys arse my only comment is he put a "?" instead of an "!". Which would make more sense noting his airmiles comment at the end.
Otherwise I do agree with your comments up to that point. But over here N.O. are not as big a draw and they do struggle to fill some venues, Bournemouth for example and 3rd on the bill at Hyde Park for the Olympics closing gig.
B.T.W over in mainland Europe a lot of festivals are paid for by the local or regional government with sponsors paying for the festival bands themselves. Who pays what over there ?. Seeing the ticket prices and restrictions I guess both the fans and sponsors are filling the bands coffers.
NB: JG p.m. me !
As a very dear friend from the NW said, "Beautiful venue, but fuck all if you are going to find a place to stay." She also noted that I am not a camper.
New Order in 2001 w/Moby was in... British Columbia if memory serves.
Oh and screw all'yall about how us yanks date the month first. We know what day it is, it's the month we're usually confused with ![]()
