Just wondering has anyone else heard back from the BBC yet re: successful or not? Not a bean my end. In fairness they do state "notified by email by Friday 25th September".
I have applied. I also tried to pull a fast one by by-passing the process and getting tickets via a 6 Music presenter I know, who can usually get pretty much anything, but seems the BBC are rather strict these days on such matters :-(
If I get drawn I hope I have more luck than Orbital about 3 years ago. The BBC over subscribe basically so unless you get there early you are not guaranteed to get in even if you have a ticket!
It was mentioned on another thread - which I now can't find - that we would know by the 25th. And indeed I have found an email I got from the BBC which confirmed that date. No joy for me then I'm afraid. Anyone else?
Nothing doing here, either. Would have been a nice little 50th birthday present for myself even though it'd be a pain getting down to London before midday.
I applied and received no notification either way. I know of at least one other person that got an e-mail saying they weren't successful.
At the very least I'm going to try and make sure it gets recorded onto my PC's media centre so I can knock up a decent audio of the performance.
Has anyone heard anything, I have not had anything at all except conformation of entering from the BBC and that was 2 weeks ago
