as I was saying..
Factory went bankrupt therefore our fave boys and girl had no choice - they had no label.
I have read that Factory ran into some management problems...is it true that the label paid for the Happy Mondays to go on a company paid holiday? I wish my employer would have picked up the tab for me to go to California to see New Order, but that wasn't happening!!! I also read that by the time NO found out about the dire straits that Factory was in, there was nothing they could do to help out...
Factory apparently sent Happy Mondays to the West Indies to spend £0.5million on recording the lp everybody's forgotten about. They gave a similar wedge to Northside. The Mondays didn't spend it all on recording I think it's fair to say....
