Signed New Order records: what are they worth these days?

I have some New Order records that all four members of New Order have signed. My first New Order gig was at The Brighton Centre back in Spring 1986, and I was fortunate to meet them after the gig. All four of them signed my copies of Temptation, Movement, PCL and Lowlife.

Now 17 or so years later, I was wondering if they are worth anything?

The rule of thumb (for artists in general) used to be that every autograph added aprrox. 10-15 USD to the value. Obviously higher for cult-icons and notorious non-autograph-writers...

I've heard that bernard is quite a reluctant signee, any truth in that?

Barney happily signs autographs - I reckon that was the case from the mid 80s anyway - he DID however, sign his name as "Bull Shit" in my copy of Johnsons book at the Barrowland gig (on my birthday) 9th June '85? (maybe '86 or even '87 can't remember).

Hooky (apparently) rarely dedicates signatures. ie, he won't sign in To Karen..." if it isn't Karen asking for the autograph?!?!!? this is what I was told at the Reading Uni gig at the end of June '87.

S & G sigbn ANYTHING - I'm sure many of you have Joy Division records signed by Gillian...

Barney was more than happy to sign my shirt backstage at the 93 gig here in Dallas, of course, he was drunk as shit, and my wife (well, she was my wife back then) did have some rather enormous, uhm...eyes...so maybe that's why he did it...Gillian signed it as well...but she was on the constant look out for Stevie boy...

and I've got my Republic CD signed by Hooky...it's not dedicated to anyone...as I could barely muster up the courage to ask him to sign it at all...much less to make it out to me!!! I was actually fearful that he might stomp the piss out of me for bothering him!!!

as for the CD...I wouldn't sell it for anything...so I guess as long as I'm alive, it's priceless...
