Not to be disrespectful, but I almost look forward to ole Ronnie's passing away. Only then can Republicans finally deify him as a "god among men" who "blessed us with his presence" and "made us feel glad to be Americans". I can almost guarentee Reagan will get the Augustus Caesar treatment, like he was some divine blessing to the country :rolleyes:

now Trevor...how can you piss on Ronnie that way...when he took office, we were feeling fairly low...the economy was in a shambles...the Iran hostage thing had drug on for waaaaaaaay too long...and there wasn't a whole lot for us to be proud about...then the Miracle on Ice happened...and suddenly we had something to be proud of, and the Gipper took the ball and ran with it...

actually...he was one of the better presidents we have had...

it's always interesting to see how these guys look later on...almost everyone idolizes JFK for his programs...but the fact of the matter is that JFK got very few of his programs through while he was alive...it took LBJ and all the clout that he had accumulated during his years in the legislative branch to bring most of the programs to fruition...and now all LBJ is remembered for is killing kids in Vietnam...funny, isn't it???

Hey, I remember the sheep thing really upsetting me. But I easn't online untill today. Aren't there animal protection laws in England that would ban animal sacrifition for busines sucess ?

Football supporters from a Croatian seaside town sacrified a rooster before a match once. They're the same ones that recently dug graves in the pitch after their team lost a UEFA qualifier. They got the stadium suspended. And I seem to remember Tottenham doing the same. People would do all sorts of strange things.
