My prediction was pretty damn close then, wasn't it?

I said Top 40....guess I was wrong.

Say, Martin, had a chance to check the Teaser quiz? (he asked him knowingly)

Yes, it was, Martin. Check the other thread; I named you the winner there. Not that I'm offering a prize, mind you!

Get Ready stands at # 7 at the Center City Tower Records in Philadelphia. Not a bad starting point for my fair city.

Is that for all Tower locations nationwide or just that one?

Is this chart position any good for the US Charts?

Does it compare well to previous releases? I seem to remember reading somewhere that Technique only made the Top 40 in the States.

I'm not sure #41 is good, but you can't expect high charts when you didn't release any material for 8 years and without promotion of the album.

Unfortunatly for them, when they did promote the album in the US, it was secheduled to be release 3 months afterwards..

Crystal was #1 in the Club/Dance chart, but that sure didn't help the album since there is no remix on there...

Wait until they release Turn My Way and it will bring the album to higher grounds.

#26 on the Canadian chart, #9 Alternative album.

It was not apparent to me what exactly Warner Records was doing to promote the album in any meaningful way. It would certainly seem like TMW has the potential for wide commercial appeal, but I'm sure Warner will manage to screw that up too.

All Tower Records stores maintain there own charts, and the Top 1000 is compiled from the gross sales of all stores and on-line. From a former employee of 11 days.

#55 at Amazon.com, but then again, that is a new age hippie type buying market with that there site.

Amazon.com list also includes not yet released items, such as Backstreet Boys Hits Chapter One.

Release Turn My Way and Get Ready will go much higher, guaranteed. I'm not a Pumpkins fan, but I do like the song, and SP are no more, people would go nuts over a new Corgan song....
