She's Lost Control was on BBC TV only (same night as Transmission). Shadowplay was on Granada TV. Unless I've missed something these last 25 years !
They supposedly did SLC on a Granada programme called "What's On" (I think). One of the books mentions it, and no-one has really ever confirmed it's existence, other than a very poor quality incomplete bootleg which could have come from anywhere.
Or 31/7/79 BBC Studios,Maida Vale,London : John Peel Session 1.But there was no tv camera there :D

Julio.....Granada TV is specifically for the Manchester region, which is nowhere near London......

I'd always had that down as a mistake by the author, confusing the Granada Reports appearance with the Something Else songs.
I was wrong it really exists.Ricardo sent me a mp3 cd including it. It sounds different from Something Else and The Peel Session but it is cut before its end.

A cut and paste job from Joy Division Central may clear things a bit.
What's On: Granada TV, 20 July 1979 She's Lost Control (Unreleased) We're not sure about this one: Mark Johnson's book "An Ideal For Living" says this broadcast took place but if it did there is no known copy on video - and Granada haven't used the footage since. However, a poor quality version of this (which is cut short) does appear on bootleg audio tapes.
The low quality MP3 I have has been uploaded here.

I have all three of these songs on video and cassette. I got the videos off a program here called Rage and tapped them off a radio station called Triple J. I never get sick of watching and listening to them, great stuff.
...Triple J...
...doesn't they broadcasted THE CURE 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' years ago ?...
