Danny und Bernd from NOOL's German Order are hot-footing it across to Blighty for ACR's appearance at Fabric on October 24th. (They're also here for the Mission, but less said about that the better).

Think we've already got a reasonable welcoming committee out for that night - myself, Johnny G, Mickey Way, Ness and maybe Mr Solitude, amongst others.

Any more takers?!

Can you give me a few details, such as time etc and where Fabric is and how to get hold of tickets. I'd be keen to put in an appearance.

Fabric tickets can be found HERE

It's a stone's throw from Farringdon tube.

I'm sure we'll start the proceedings early in a bar in that area too. ..

Why would anyone want to go to Brazil ? They can't play football, the women are all ugly, there are no decent beaches and it always rains.

Well I assume the BR postcode meant Brazil !

I phoned up Fabric this evening for some more details and they told me that ACR are taking the stage from 12 til 1. I have an early start on Saturday and as I would solely be going for ACR and don't fancy getting home at about 4 in the morning, I shall pass on this occasion. :(

Shame, should be a good 'un. Least it's defo confirmed now - urbanite sent an e-mail around this week too (finally!). Looks like it's ACR's only date though.

Shame they weren't on from 11 til 12, could get home with ease and let the clubbers get in with the larks.

That's what I like to see, a good, healthy competitive rivalry! :D

Me, the Mrs and Johnny G are planning to attend, after first taking Ze German Order to some footie in the Bedfordshire region. The Germans are then off to the Mission though, bless.

Think Ness said she's attending, but seems she can't post here at the mo'? Think she's mailed you Nic?

Solitude can't get off work. Shame.

Mickey Way may be there, depends on whether/not he drags his arse up to Bolton for the Brum game.

Are Tim and Jim not gonna check out the opposition?!

I won't be there, will be 150 miles away. A pity, but it clashes with something else. They aren't exactly opposition either - there's plenty of scope for JD tribute bands, and seeing as we do as much New Order stuff as JD anyway, we are more of a wider range. Plus we still need another guitarist !

Moving house early in the morning, then leaving Karen to unpack while I head off to a family 90th birthday - free feed and bubbly, definitely a one-off jobby (and she was generous with the contrib to the wedding fund !).

Quality venue. Tiny place. Dunno if you saw Ness's photos of Hooky with Hybrid but it gives you an idea of just how 'intimate' the gaff is! Looking forward to it already, should be a good crowd of us there too. . .
