Joy Division meets House?

Does anyone have this Aloof CD? Does it really sound like JoyDivision meets house? I have a couple 12"s from the early to mid 90's but they don't really remind me of Joy Division. I have to admit i'm intrigued and tempted to get this but 20bones is a lot for a dogg like me.

The Aloof as in On a Mission and Never Get Out Of The Boat? Dean Thatcher's band wasn't it? What's the track in question?
