You appear to have hit my most common nick-name squarely on the head Muffy,Hey this thing has 256 something or other PIII 860 I think it's the 56k modem that's slow, also the typing starts stststutterring when i'm downloading.

Maybe you need to free up some system resources. Go into your startup menu and close everything so that nothing automatically starts up when you boot up. The modem is only as good as your ISP, they might have too many users, but keep going, your nearly there.

He shooots,he scores,Right I've got know idea about closing stuff and am way to scared of never finding it again.What I normally do is leave it on when I go to bed so it can take as much time as it likes.
