The label on the record for this gives the tracks as Club Mix and Detroit Mix, but there are definitely three tracks on the 12". What's the third? Is it Best & Marsh? I know the easy way would be just to play it, but I haven't got a record player any more!!

'Best & Marsh' twelve inch version (same as can be found on the fifth disc of 'Retro').

The third track is the Ben Grosse remix (the 'Twelve Inch Mix'). In fact, this 12" has the same tracklisting as the 3" CD single, if that helps.
Hang on, are we talking about the one with the little pictures in a chequerboard pattern sleeve (FAC 263R), or the one with the blue sleeve with no picture, only a title (FAC 263DJ)?
They both have different tracks.
263R has Club & Detroit mixes of R&R, plus "Best & Marsh" (which isn't credited).
263DJ has Ben Grosse, 12" Mix and Detroit.
The UK 3" CD has Ben Grosse 12", Club and Detroit - the Ben Grosse 12" is not the same as the 12" mix (which is also on the UK 5"CD).
Then again, I believe some of the 3"ers from other countries have a different track listing to the Uk one!
Confused? You will be...
I have both 12 Inches, and the checkerboard one has Best and Marsh 12 Inch version on it - as I stated several posts ago!

You'd have to check your manual. When 3" CDs first came out, they came with little plastic adapters that snapped onto them, making the width 5" and enabling their use in conventional CD players - kind of defeating the whole point of making them 3" in the first place!
These days, there's a little "dip" in the CD trays in most domestic Hi-fi's to accomodate these discs, but you have to be careul if there's not on there - my girlfriend's cheapy Hi-fi busted after trying to play one of these discs.
Check the manual first, before breaking your system!
