In readyness for the NOOL christmas piss up which is in the planning stage, I need a little practice.

Any of the London Order can make a bevvy at the end of the month, Oct 31st?.

I've got some choice Sultan Black Box items to dish out. It will cost you a pint though.

BTW, what do you think of my cameraman impression?

Anyone else about on the 31st?. If you want to hear some New Order rehearsals, you better be there.

This depends on how shit faced I get on the Thursday night, you guys always manage to organse a scenario the day after I have a major session planned :nonono:

If I am as comatose as I was last time I shall make my excuses now

Who else is gonna be there?

About 7pm, Slug And Lettuce, Dean St?

I shall be there, as shall my wife. Also with us will be some CDs of the Order playing a different set each night, from the good old days back in 1984.

I'm not convinced there's a Slug and Lettuce on Dean Street?

Anyone want a DVD of Finsbury/WOMAD 85? no extras or comments from the Director I'm afraid (now that would be something else!)

SLUG & LETTUCE then. About 7.30ish. You will recognise me as the sad c**t on his own. Al can get there for 9ish. OR we can meet up in the Hobgoblin, Marylebone. Who else is going?

We'll be going straight from work, I'd guess. Not entirely sure where the S & L is round there to be honest, not an area I know too well.

Fortunately, i know Soho like the back of my hand!. I think it's on Mead St, between Dean and Berwick St??

What time can you get there after work?.

Hands up who was the drunkest? Must've been me, surely? That's what 2 o'clock starts do for you. :nonono:

Did I even speak to any NOOLers in the end? Just seemed to stick with my work-mates.

And you really do not want to know what my vodka tally hit in the end. :evil4:

Solitude, did we have a row with a taxi driver?!

You seemed quite happy Al, you were well into the 20s on the vodka front by the time you sent Paula home !

No Al, YOU had a row with a taxi driver cos' you put your feet on the fold down seat (a serious crime apparently). It is fair to say that you were the most pissed up NOOL. BTW, thanks for the CDs mate:)

Ta to you as well Peter for the CDs and the DVD - watched it this morning, happy memories indeed !

Interesting to hear the Paradise-type riff originating in 1984, and also the origins of This Time of Night. Enjoyed that rehearsal CD. Pity Sunrise is cut on Warrington, that was probably the best ever live version of it !

Well, it was a long day. ;)

Hey! Nowt to do with me, I think she took herself off home cos she was sick of listening to you lot talk about the Order! ;)

Quite frankly, I could've done with her stopping around as a chaperone! Once again I woke up to the remnants of a kebab I don't even remember buying in the first instance!

Sounds like you lot had a great time, thanks to Don phoning me and telling me you's were all getting pissed, got to speak to Timbo fer 5 minutes, wish I could have afforded it and made the trip down. Jarvo, you need to cut them Voddies down, or you'll be in a George Best state before long;) Cannae wait for the piss up in December:beer:
