What's great about that rant is its totally generic. Apart from the reference to the yellow sleeve it could be reused to slag off any band anywhere.
I've always found that the people who like Joy Division tend to be those who are less shallow, of generally higher than average intellect and are willing to experiment in all sorts of ways - musically or otherwise.
I suppose I've been lucky.
