Yes, we're now entering phase 2 of the voting process.. song face-off, so you need to vote for your favorite cover of one particular song, because we won't have twice the same song on the final CD...
Tough choices, nice work by everyone, I feel bad already and it's only starting...
Listening to these latest versions it seems clear that it's going to be a tough job - glad to say though that the standards are really high
we have more Face Offs next week. and you still have to listen to the bands that sent only one! there is pretty good stuff left! 
And that's the actual problem.. band actually in a fight only submitted one cover, so you're eliminating them...
I just hope some people will understand this doesn't mean their cover is not good! I am afraid it might offend some recording artists to see they didn't do the final tracklisting over some amateur...
We didn't put all this effort to don't finish the project.
OF COURSE it will be released... I have a feeling this will be in the beginning of 2004, since the final round should take a little while to make sure many people are voting, plus there is the design contest (well, polls actually, designs were submitted already) and there is the mastering (I have no idea how long is that) and then the CD production...
As you can see, it's a quite long process, but it keeps us busy while we're waiting for the new New Order album!
