Someone's started a thread on Ceremony - again - about the vocodered bit in the middle of Fine Time.
Think we must've done that here before, but what we haven't done is the vocodered bit in the middle of the live 'Mr Disco' from US 89 and Reading 89.
Can anyone work out what's said? Sounds like different languages to me, opening with 'Bon Voyage' and saying 'Marbella' a couple of times. The rest of it I just can't figure though, even on Mixer recordings.

The live version had an additional 'electronic' voice before this, which is difficult to work out.
"I searched all these places, but never found you", surely?
Anyway, back to the original question...
Two topics within this one, by the look of it !
The vocoder voices or whatever they are definitely say Marbella, Barcelona and Corfu, they could well be others.
At the end of the song it is "Ibiza, Majorca and Benidorm too, I searched all these places and never found you".

The 1989 Birmingham NEC version sounds like what you've said, Barcelona, Marbella, Corfu. Maybe Barbados as well?
