During a politics show probably on BBC1, there was a piece about banning smoking in Mnachester bars and the track they used at the start was Temptation, Substance version.

A little while later on the Rugby World Cup show, they finished the show with the same version of the song :D

Will the lads cash in and re-release it "as featured on"?

Just enjoy the fact they picked Temptation and that NO haven't been asked to write a rugby song yet:laugh:

Hey i thought i would be the only one to hear TEMPTATION on BBC1 during the polictical show.Indeed the MANCHESTER connection was there.BTW i have only had one smoke in my entire life.Pity i pissed it all away!:rolleyes:It took me a few seconds to spot the song and was pleased to hear it on such a show.I usually would have been watching HOLLYOAKS or some other cheesy prog. Well spotted...ROCKET MICK:eek:

They also played the outro at the end of the Smoking report. I thought it was the T'98 version. The other connection besides Manchester was the presenter Jeremy Vine who is a big JD/NO (& the Fall) fan. He was at the Liverpool 'comeback' gig & did an interview with them.

He also did some publicity photos for his Radio2 show wearing an Unkown Pleasures T-shirt.

Football Focus on the Saturday used an instrumental loop of What do you want from me?

But most intriguing was an instumental bit on the BBC Top Gear program which had the drum beat from She's lost Control. Clouldn't work out if it was a remix or a Sample.

Anyone know what it was?
