I was a little disappointed that you never followed my extremely clear instructions to 'draw' your response - electing to 'write' your shapes was a small cop-put but when all said and done had to hold my hands up in admiration for the simple fact that you answered my question in a unique manner... (should never have doubted you).

So... 'Triangle' 'Circle' 'Square' (your shapes)

Hopefully you will have successfully received my drawings which featured... a stick drawing of a man with a large 'circular' head a stick drawing of a 'square' house and a stick drawing of a dog made of 'triangles'

Taking the premise logically and laterally... and given that I rushed you so you never had the opportunity to think too hard (and allow the element of cheating to creep into the equation) I'd say that was pretty close.

Thanks for taking part Patty... we were close, now, surely, we are closer.

Well, Huntsy, I did in fact follow your instructions about drawing three objects, and I have that paper here before me. However, translating a drawing on a piece of paper into a form that could be e-mailed to Klumpy is obviously something that is second nature to you, but not to me. So I did the best I could. I too observed that although superficially our choices were different, on another level they had fundamental saimilarities. And Huntsy, I already felt so close to you that I can't imagine feeling closer.

I need to know that you did think these were genuinely similar. I mean, after all, how many objects and symbols and pictures in the world and all 3 of your shapes were on the page for all to see. The simplicity of the line drawings echoed your typed shapes to Buster.

Apologies for my attack on your good name for suggesting you never had drawn the efforts. You are correct, scanning and design is a Huntsmans bread and butter so it was easy for me to send Buster and you the goods.

I confess when I first saw your drawings, Huntsy, the first reaction I had was to see the differences rather than the similarities. But that first reaction was fairly quickly followed by a perception of the resemblances. And they actually go beyond what you've mentioned. The house is both a square and a triangle; the man is not just a circle but two triangles as well; the dog is not just two triangles but a (skewed) square as well.

I didn't want to bring up 'ALL' of the similarities for fear of bias towards the end results, so I'm very glad you noticed them without me banging on about it.

To end this on a cliff hanger (well, I try my best) - I am putting together a 'remote' photofit of you Patty, yes, that's right. Expect only the spookiest of things very soon.

Well, OK, Huntsy, after all it's Halloween, time to be Spooky. Although I'm not sure what a regular "photofit" is, let alone a "remote" one.
