I still have my Bundesweir vest, hopwever it must has shrunk, or could it be my expanding belly

Me too Mike, well I ripped the badge off the vest and got it stitched onto a fleece!!! Dont really have the frame for a muscle vest!!

Ha ha. I've been off work all week clearing out the spare room and found a load of photos of me at Uni circa 86/87 sporting a lovely Bundeswehr vest!

Don't own said vest now but have still got a Kill 'Em All Let God Sort 'Em Out t-shirt! (not that I ever wear it!)..

Mine fell apart, after being lent to an ex-girlfriend, though I did save the badge as well, which is now pinned to a bulletin board.
