To Barney: What did you learn from Ian, as far as songwriting goes, and how do you think it shows in your work?

To the band: It's your last-ever gig (before the eventual breakup/overdose/nuclear holocaust/whatever). What song would you end with from your twenty-odd years of recording?

to the band: I still remember when an advance cassette of Confusion arrived at CKLN, a college radio station in Toronto. There were 6, I think, mixes of the song and confusion ensued. People were asking "Which version is the song?" The notion of multiple mixes was still new then, with the major distiction being the 12"extended mix vs the album version(which was considered the song by most). Now we are all used(most of us) to coming across multiple mixes of songs, including some that appear very distant relatives to the "original". What is the band's view on the notion of the "original" song in the context of remixes? Does the band now see its own material as more plastic than back in the Warsaw days? How do they view their own influence on this new perception of the song as a flexible and changing entity?

To Bernard: What is your favorite bar/pub in the United States? And where is it located?

To Peter: What type of bass equipment did you use on "Get Ready" -- bass, amps, effects, etc.?

To Steve: Does it bother you that the Other Two always seemed a bit lost among the "other two's" side projects?

I've been to your gig with Revenge in Sao Paulo about ten years ago. Although, when New Order were here I could not go to the gig.

Do you plan giging in Brazil on Get Ready tour? Please don't forgive us. We like New Order very much and I could not die without going to a New Order concert.

Question to Barney:

Do you know that we don't have any singles released from New Order and most of important bands in Brazil? What do you think, beeing a pioneer doing that here in Brazil? There is absolutely no reason to not release singles in our country. If the record labels think like that, they are very wrong. New Order could be the first important band releasing singles here.

In the concerts, almost every song you play "acoustic" drums fowlowed by some sequencer stuff. When you record the album, do you use the same instruments or do you use more electronic drums than in concerts? I ask that because sometimes, the live performances on the drums are more heavy and sound more "played" for you.

New Order have made groundbreaking music over the years, who do you think is breaking new ground at the moment, if anyone?

What tracks have you heard and thought "I wish we'd done that"?

Why don't you ever use acoustic guitars on live performances. Some songs like Love Less, As it Is When It Was sound like acoustic guitar on the records. Run Wild would be played live with acoustic guitars?

To Barney: Was there ever any pressure to write like Ian when you took over the vocal/lyrical duties for New Order? Obviously Movement sounds like a Joy Division knock-off.

Question for New Order: Will you release an official "Live" album?

Question for Bernard; Do you ever dream about an invisible monster who follows you throughout your life, unsettling you... but then as an old man you realize that he had a secret that would have unlocked the key to existence and you never let him near enough to share it with you?

2. To each member of the band: What part of being a professional musician do you most enjoy (asides from the sex, drugs, etc, )? Is it song-writing, touring, or recording? (We know it's not the promo work)

3. What songs do you most enjoy playing live? (We know it's not Blue Monday;) )

4. To Peter: Can you promise us that you will come back to Canada? We forgive you for referring to us as "Americans"!!! ;)

5. I also like the question others asked: Have you considered doing a live or unplugged album? That would be great!!!

1. When are your entire back catalouge getting re-mastered like many other bands at the moment? Can't wait to buy them because I felt most of them sound a bit 'tinny'...not doing justice to the material at all especially Factus 8 & Low-life..

2. When will we see more DVD released. That 316 was good but how about PFD & NewOrderStory & even Academy ( that Brixton Academy concert that Australians Fans don't even get a chance to have a sniff at....) We are really waiting...
