I posted this in the tribute forum, but I though I'd post one here also.

if your up tonight, from 10pm - 12 am central, Listen to Kamar's Destination Unknown show broadcast from Loyola University in Chicago. The station is 88.7 wluw. Tonight he'll be playing some Community Covers! Some that made it to the finals and some that didn't.

But for everyone else, you can listen online. Go to http://www.wluw.org Click on the "listen live"link.

Feel free to join us in our AIM (AOL Instant Messager) chat room tonight during the show. Send a instant message to my screen name WENORDER and then I'll send you and invite.

Hang on a sec - are there royalty implications if these songs are played on a radio station ? I think the artistes who did the covers may get themselves in a "having to pay New Order" situation if the songs are broadcast without the consent of the publishing company.....

new order does get royalties for covers. its a non-for-profit college radio station, the community songs are not for sale and no-one is making a profit by me playing them, so im sure it'll be ok. we only track royalties once a year, i assure you, bands i play will not get into legal trouble because of this :)

who gives a rats ass about royalties. nice to see that someone from the other side of the pond cares enough to bang some of these tunes on the airwaves for others to get on too. keep up the good work m8:clap::clap::clap:
